Meanwhile, Brentford's goal only came from Bryan Mbeumo in the 13th minute.
Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta, expressed his gratitude for the victory, which was very meaningful because his team had fallen behind earlier.
Arteta praised the team's very calm reaction despite facing pressure.
“We were one goal behind, and that was a big challenge. “However, the team showed a lot of calm and emotional maturity,” said Arteta as quoted by Arsenal's official website.
Arteta also gave special appreciation to Mikel Merino, who impressed again by scoring an important goal.
