DomainJava.com – Bournemouth vs Everton prediction in the Premier League match, Bournemouth and Everton will face off in their first match of 2025 when they meet at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

Fans of both clubs are very pleased with the direction they are taking at the moment, with Everton still slumping and the Cherries having made their best start to a Premier League season.

Phenomenal recent form has seen Bournemouth go seven games unbeaten in the Premier League – their longest such run – resulting in manager Andoni Iraola being nominated for Manager of the Month.

That unbeaten run was extended in dramatic circumstances once again last week, when Dango Ouattara's chipped kick saw them equalize at Fulham to salvage a 2-2 draw in the 89th minute at Craven Cottage.

Amazingly, it was their 10th goal after 85 minutes of the season – three more than any other team has scored.

Another point takes them to 30th, and seventh in the Premier League table to end 2024 – just one place and one point behind champions Manchester City, and five points off the top four.

Iraola has received a lot of praise for his team's pressing and intensive displays, and their attacking output shows that, as only two other teams have taken more shots in the Premier League than their 601 throughout 2024.

Their brave performance at Old Trafford a few weeks ago was the most prominent of the season so far, becoming only the second team to win there by a three-goal margin in successive seasons, and the first for 63 years.

The second was their win in the reverse fixture at the end of August, when Bournemouth set a record for the last team trailing 2-0 and still won a Premier League game, capitalizing on Everton's defeat to win 3-2 at Goodison Park despite being two goals down in the 87th minute .

It also leaves them in a good position for this match, as they have won four consecutive home games against Everton, and have never lost to the Toffees in the Premier League at Vitality.

Everton have never played an opponent more often in the Premier League without beating them on their home turf, and recent form does not suggest they can do it again.

2024 is not a year that Everton fans will remember fondly, as it could not be any worse this year, unless they suffer relegation before moving to their new stadium.

Eight wins across the calendar year puts them 91st in the entire EFL, as only Burton Albion have won fewer, and it is Everton's lowest tally throughout the year since 1997, with half of those wins coming during a golden spell in April.

Poor attack figures explain why, as no team in 92 finished bottom of Everton's goalscoring charts – scoring just 31 goals all year.

After three convincing performances to earn draws against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City, Everton were once again helpless as the burden fell on them to do something in the final third against Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Everton conceded two easy goals in defence, and it took over 80 minutes to force opposition goalkeeper Matz Sels into a save, meaning they have now failed to score in 38% of matches under Sean Dyche.

Just one win in 10 games has seen the gap close behind them again, with Ipswich Town's shock win over Chelsea leaving them just two points behind the Toffees.

The visitors have also rarely had strong starts in the new year, having lost six of their last seven opening games in the calendar year, but neither have Bournemouth, who have enjoyed just one win in 12 such games.

Bournemouth will feature Justin Kluivert again after missing the trip to Fulham through suspension, but Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier are expected to miss out.

Iraola's squad suffered injuries in the last game, with two goalkeepers and four players under the age of 20 on the bench, so he hopes Tyler Adams and Alex Scott can recover as quickly as possible from their recent setbacks.

Marcos Senesi and Julian Araujo still have to wait until the end of the game, while fellow defender Adam Smith will also be out for a few more weeks.

Everton will remain without Dwight McNeil due to a knee injury, and captain Seamus Coleman is also undergoing treatment for a minor calf problem he picked up against Man City.

James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam are the only players absent, but Dyche has confirmed they are progressing well and will return this month.

Armando Broja was given the full game against Forest, but it is likely that Dyche will use Dominic Calvert-Lewin again, even though he has gone 14 games without a goal.
