DomainJava .COM – With a 1-1 draw against PSBS Biak, Persib Bandung is still at the top of the League 1 standings.
As is known, Persib Bandung had to settle for sharing one point with PSBS Biak in the match week 18 of League 1 2024/25 at the Lukas Enembe Sentani Stadium, Jayapura Regency, Papua, Saturday 11 January 2025.
After the match, Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak admitted that his team had dominated the match and created a number of opportunities until Nick Kuipers was given a red card in the 51st minute.
“We dominated the game. “We had a chance until our player got a red card,” said Hodak in the post match press conference.
Persib Bandung, who played with 10 people since Nick Kuipers received a red card in the 51st minute, fell behind to Pablo Alganaraz’s goal in the 65th minute.
With a strength of 10 players, Persib slowly rose to increase attacks on PSBS Biak.
And finally, through a free kick, Tyronne del Pino managed to score a goal in the 85th minute, preventing Persib Bandung from their first defeat of the season.
