DomainJava .COM – The La Liga results of the postponed match Valencia vs Real Madrid have ended with Los Blancos’ comeback victory, Saturday (4/1/2025) at the Mestala Stadium.
This match was supposed to take place in the 12th week but the flood disaster that hit Valencia and Spain meant that the match was postponed and could only be held early this morning.
The match between Valencia and Real Madrid was dramatic. Real Madrid had to fall behind due to Hugo Duro’s goal in the first half. However, they managed to equalize the score through Luka Modric’s action before ensuring victory through Jude Bellingham’s goal. Following is the course of the match:
First Half
Valencia took advantage of a good opportunity when Hugo Duro scored a goal in the 27th minute. Real Madrid tried to respond, but a number of opportunities were not converted into goals.
Score 1-0 for Valencia’s advantage lasted until halftime.
Second Half
Real Madrid got a penalty in the 53rd minute, but Jude Bellingham’s execution was too slow and only hit the post.
Vinicius Junior was then given a red card in the 79th minute. Carlo Ancelotti reacted by bringing on Luka Modric. Modric successfully scored a goal in the 85th minute following Bellingham’s assist.
Real Madrid then took the lead in the sixth minute of injury time. Bellingham successfully exploited the blunder made by Hugo Guillamon to break into Dimitrievski’s goal.
The score 2-1 for Real Madrid’s victory was the final result of this match.
With this result, Real Madrid is at the top of the La Liga standings with 43 points, Bellingham et al are two points ahead of Atletico Madrid who are in second place. Meanwhile, Valencia is still slumped in 19th position with 12 points.
