DomainJava .COM – Persik Kediri finally showed its strength again in the 18th week match against Bali United at the I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali with a landslide victory 1-3, Sunday (12/1/2024).
Persik Kediri’s three goals were created by Ze Valente’s kick in the 45+2 minute, then Adilson Maringa’s own goal in the 47th minute, then the final goal was scored by Majed Osman in the 87th minute.
Meanwhile, Bali United’s return goal was scored by Bali United player Irfan Jaya in the 80th minute.
Persik Kediri’s victory is also their fourth consecutive win after beating Arema (1-0), Semen Padang (3-1), Borneo FC (0-4) and now beating Bali United (1-3).
Persik’s victory also increased the coffers in collecting points to 30 points by occupying the top 4 of the 2024-2025 Liga 1 standings.
Persik Kediri is in the top four of the standings along with Persija Jakarta with 34 points in 3rd place and Persebaya with 37 points in second place and Persib Bandung with 40 points at the top of the standings.
Meanwhile, Bali United’s defeat to Persik Kediri put Bali United in 7th place with 28 points.
Persik Kediri is now competing with Persita Tangerang which has the same points but is behind in the number of goals from Persik Kediri.
Persik’s position in the top 4 of the temporary standings is an achievement in itself, for the White Tigers, who previously were always in the middle of the temporary standings.
