DomainJava .COM – Liverpool achieved a big 5-0 victory over West Ham United in the closing match of 2024 at the London Stadium on Monday (30/12/2024) early morning WIB.
Luis Diaz opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 30th minute, followed by Cody Gakpo’s goal in the 40th minute. Mohamed Salah increased the Reds’ lead to 3-0 in the 44th minute of the first half.
After the break, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goal in the 54th minute further widened Liverpool’s lead. Diogo Jota, who came on as a substitute, added another goal in the 84th minute, completing a brilliant victory for Arne Slot’s team.
With this result, Liverpool is firmly at the top of the standings with 45 points, eight points ahead of Nottingham Forest who is in second place. Meanwhile, West Ham is stuck in 13th position with 23 points.
