DomainJava .COM – Patrick Kluivert is said to have agreed to become coach of the Indonesian National Team for 2 years with an option to extend for two years.
This news was shared by international transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his social media account.
Now there is the latest news from Marca, a well-known Spanish media which reports that Louis van Gaal will become the technical director of the Indonesian National Team.
“As explained by Fabrizio Romano, they already have a replacement: Patrick Kluivert, who recently gained experience at Adana Demirspor, will be the new coach… with Louis Van Gaal as Sports Director,” wrote Marca.
According to Bung Harpa, it was reported that PSSI had met Louis van Gaal but not as a coach because he was considered old.
And Bung Harpa said that it is possible that van Gaal will be appointed as technical director of the Indonesian National Team.
Previously, this position was occupied by Indra Sjafri, who is currently the coach of the Indonesian U20 national team.
However, this possibility was immediately denied by Dutch media, Ziggo Sport.

According to Dutch media, the news shared by Marca is wrong, because only Patrick Kluivert will be the coach of the Indonesian national team.
They also interviewed van Gaal directly and the former Manchester United coach said he would not become technical director of the Indonesian national team.
“We have asked about that (regarding the Louis van Gaal news).”
“The short answer is: ‘No’, it won’t happen,” said Wytse van der Goot.
So now it is certain that the duet between van Gaal and Patrick Kluivert for the Indonesian national team will not materialize.
