A draw in this away match is considered to be a good start.

Five days later, on March 25 2025, the Indonesian National Team will host Bahrain at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta. Victory in this home match is important to increase the chances of qualifying directly for the 2026 World Cup.

Patrick Kluivert is targeting his team to get four points from these two matches, although he admits six points is the ideal result.

“We need to be sharp against Australia and Bahrain. My target is to get four points from these two matches. “Of course we want six points, but we have to respect our opponents,” said Patrick Kluivert during an introductory session in Jakarta, Sunday afternoon. According to Patrick Kluivert, the remaining four matches in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification are like the final match for the Indonesian national team.

“This match is very important, I call the last four matches like a final. “Therefore, I want the players to train optimally and harder than their opponents,” said Kluivert.

Kluivert also said that the remaining four matches in the third qualifying round were very decisive matches, like the final for the Indonesian national team.

He asked the players to train optimally and work harder than their opponents to achieve the best results.
