DomainJava .COM – Persib Bandung will start the second round of BRI Liga 1 2024/2025 by flying to Papua to face PSBS Biak today, Saturday (11/1/2025)
The PSBS Biak vs Persib match will be broadcast live on Indosiar at 13.30 WIB. Or at 15.30 WIT at the Lukas Enembe Stadium.
However, Persib’s away match was without several key players who are usually Maung Bandung’s mainstay.
There are 4 names of players who cannot fly to Jayapura, Papua to face PSBS Biak, namely
Beckham Putra Nugraha, Gustavo Franca, Kevin Mendoza and Ciro Alves.
Beckham and Gustavo are absent due to accumulated yellow cards. Both received their fourth yellow card against Persis Solo in Week 17.
They can both play against Bali United because the match which will take place on Tuesday (7/1/2025) is a match postponed in the 12th week. In fact, Gustavo also received a yellow card in the match which ended 1-1.

The victory was the result of a collaboration between Beckham and Gustavo. Beckham sent the cross and Gustavo shot while dropping his body in the 90+3 minute which resulted in a goal back.
Unlike Beckham and Gustavo, the official Persib website wrote that Kevin and Ciro returned to Bandung because of family matters.
Without them, Mateo Kocijan and Zalnando were among those who flew to Jayapura. Previously, Mateo was absent against Bali United due to accumulated yellow cards. As for Zalnando, he will make his “debut” with Persib this season if he is demoted.
In the first round, Zalnando underwent a loan period at PSIS Semarang.
